One more weekend good results for the CB IES La Orden. The albiazul club has played four different competitions. The first team from the Division of Honor beat Arjonilla at the Andrés Estrada by 4-3. The albiazules won the mixed doubles, women’s doubles and two of the singles matches.
On the other hand, the Saturday morning the first leg of the final of the Andalusian League of Recre IES La Orden B was played against Benalmádena B. The Huelva team failed to beat their rival and lost 2-5.
They conquered the men’s doubles modalities, in which Iván and Juan Carlos Cumbreras faced Leon Endtz and Laxman Martínez, who they won by 17-21, 21-10 and 21-12; and the individual that Iván Cumbreras played against Javier López, the Huelva-born won 21-9, 10-21 and 21-17.
Despite the defeat, the team is not discouraged and is already thinking about the comeback goal of the second leg of the finalwhich will be held in Benalmádena on March 5.
The Colombino La Orden competed in another of the First National concentrations in Estella, Navarre. The Huelva midfielders had a positive experience of the day, although without winning. The albiazules were 1-6 against Oviedo B; 2-5 against CB Bellaterra; and 7-0 against CB Paracuellos.
The Los Palacios and Villafranca TTR has been a success for the Huelva badminton club, which has reaped six new medals.
In the men’s individual sub-13, Álex Martín was the winner of the bronze. In the men’s doubles, Martín teamed up with Julián Díaz and they won silver. The bronze of the sub-13 mixed doubles was achieved by the duo formed by Julián Díaz and Bárbara Martos.
Rubén Carreras and Bernabé Padilla won gold and silver in the men’s singles under-17. In the men’s doubles, the bronze went to José Luis Carrasco and Ulises Pérez.
