Russian hockey defender Oleg Pogorishny, who played three matches for Sparta Prague, will no longer wear a jersey with a big S on his chest. The Holešovice club informed about it on social networks. A native of Surgut, Russia, he signed a contract with Sparta in November last year. The monthly exam ended at the time.

Oleg Pogorishnyj only played matches for Sparta. When his work in Sparta seemed a thing of the past, he returned to the club and returned in January. Right in the first match after returning to the team, he scored a goal and thus helped to win over Hradec Králové.

At the end of January, however, the situation became more complicated. “At the end of January, he traveled to Russia for new visas to the Czech Republic,” said Sparta’s sports director Petr Ton. “At first they refused to release them here for a long time, later the war began and the possibility of returning became extremely complicated. We thank him for his help, “ Ton added.
