Ruteño badminton adds four golds in the II Base Cup of Andalusia

The two ruteños clubs had representation and in both cases, again, with good results. The largest presence was Rute Flying Club, with a dozen minors between the sub-13 and sub-15 categories. The most outstanding performance was Angela Moyano, who made a double at the top of the podium. He got the gold in singles under-15 and in women’s doublesforming a couple with his partner Margaret Jimenez.

The brothers also won gold in this same category. Diego and Sara Arenas, in mixed doubles, where they did not give up a set. Diego also completed his good role with a silver in singles. The fourth gold for the club would come from the hand of María Hinojosa and Carmen Baena, in women’s doubles sub-13. Volante’s list of winners was completed with a bronze for Paco Baena and José Manuel Burgueño, in men’s doubles sub-15.

For Rute Badminton Club, this tournament was not first marked on his particular calendar.
