Saint Clare. Football: “open doors” at the football school

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, March 12, the president and the educators will receive children from Saint-Clar and all the surrounding villages who are interested in playing football. They will be accompanied by one of their parents and this will take place at the Labarthète football field. The goal is to discover the functioning of the club and, possibly, to make a license there at the end of the season, but more precisely next season from September. Three other mini-courses will be offered on April 9, May 14 and June 11 at the same time. A snack will be offered to young people and their parents at noon.

Last Saturday, Team II saw its match postponed at the request of visitors to Sainte-Christie-Preignan. Team I made a perilous trip to Gimont to face the locals. They start their match with the pedal to the metal and play very good quality football. Faced with visitors who have never entered the game, the locals dominate unchallenged for a final score of 4-0, severe but quite logical. Gimont deserves to find the regional level he should never have left. Only a somewhat rough start to the season could prevent it. In order to confirm his remarkable career since the start of the season, the Lomagnols will have to return to training in large numbers in order to better prepare for future matches and end this season positively.

Saturday March 12, team I moves to Castéra-Verduzan at 6:30 p.m. and the reserve to Simorre at 8 p.m.
