It was an exciting March for the Sakura Judo of Ponte San Giovanni, the company of Maestro Roberto Sabatini has in fact distinguished itself, throughout the month in various situations of extreme positivity. The freshest and most recent, is the one that occurred this weekend with the participation in the qualifications of Terni valid for the Italian Cup of Serie A2 Fijlkam, where four athletes out of four participants (wearing the Cus Perugia jersey) have detached the relative pass for the Ostia finals to be held in April, with three golds and one silver.
Sports results Salvatore Pugliese in the -60 kg, Francesco Brunori and Lorenzo Bruni in the -73kg (first and second place and both qualified) and Federica Fioriti in the -63kg, after having imposed themselves in their respective categories, will now compete together with their team mates Michele Baldassarri and Federica Faraone (qualified by right for its position in the ranking list) in the prestigious Italian event. Furthermore, always on Sunday, a large representation of the JuDonna course, prerogative of Sakura Ponte San Giovanni, took part, together with their technician Letizia Mencarelli, in the first regional training aimed entirely at women, which also took place on Sunday 27 in Terni.
Black belt But that’s not all, Sakura in March also celebrated the promotion to the Fijlkam black belt of Mattia Calistroni, historical athlete of the Perugia association, and took part in the Italian Under 18 championships with Alin Ciobanu and Natan Zdwitowiecki, after both they had triumphed in the regional qualifying race. Despite the period, the company from Ponte San Giovanni, therefore, continues to grow at full speed, thanks to an exceptional group of athletes who never spare themselves, all for the happiness of the management sector formed by the president Daniele Calzoni, by Andrea and Antonio Liotta, Roberto and Federico Sabatini, Roberto and Gianni Mastriforti, Michele Baldassarri and Luciano Todini.
