On the occasion of the seventeenth day of the Promozion championship, and Pallacanestro Feletto 2.0 hosts the Carnic team trained by coach Bulfoni. In the first leg, Rupil’s 21 points had led Tolmezzo to victory 73-67: if on the one hand it is true that the boys of coach Re have only won two games, it is equally true that they both arrived within friendly walls. Therefore, despite the ninth position occupied in the standings (11 defeats), Feletto at home is a team not to be underestimated.
The game begins but only one of the two formations seems to have actually entered the field: Pallacanestro Tolmezzo appears in great difficulty and gives the opponents a first quarter of 27 points. This means that the hosts are projected to a game by 108 points after ten minutes. At the first short break, 13 points divide the two teams.
The second quarter begins and the roles are reversed: Feletto begins to struggle to find the way to the basket (only 11 points), while Tolmezzo instead produces attacks that bring 24 points into the team’s “coffers”. Thus we arrive at the interval in absolute parity at 38-38.
In the third fraction everything is more balanced: on the one hand Iob shows off with 9 points (of which 7 consecutive), on the other Amaduzzi, Pozzi and Cabrini keep the hosts alive by scoring 13 of the 14 points. At 30 ‘the score sees Tolmezzo ahead 55-62.
In the last quarter the boys of coach Re try to return and fully reopen the game thanks to the conclusions of Pozzi (8 in the quarter). In the end, however, not without some great risk, Tolmezzo manages to make him the match by only one point, taking home the second consecutive victory.
This latest victory brings the Carnians to 18 points (9-5). Although the ranking can create a bit of confusion due to all the recoveries, it is easier to look at the defeats rather than the victories: for now Cussignacco, CUS and Tricesimo seem impregnable (only 2 defeats), but some errors in the path can always happen. For the Tolmezzini the clash with Laipacco Basketball is rekindled (also with 5 defeats), so it seems that the fourth could be Tolmezzo’s goal in this season finale. From behind it seems too complex to return: Majano, who occupies the sixth place, has already accumulated 9 defeats.
Pall’s next engagement. Tolmezzo will be right in Laipacco, on Friday 11 March at 21.00. On the same day and at the same time Feletto will play a very important match in Pozzuolo with a view to salvation.
