Saran Group media corporations are already operating on the Czech market. In the Czech Republic, he owns the rights to the Champions League, the Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga.
“Saran Group will represent Slavia in the sale of media television rights from the qualification matches of the Champions League, the European League or the European Conference League. The Turkish group could also take part in a tender regarding the television and media rights of the Czech league, “the Slavist club’s website reads.
The problem, however, is that no such tender has been announced so far. The head of the stitched Tvrdík has been calling in vain for a long time after the announcement of the competition. However, he encounters opposition from LFA Chairman Dušan Svoboda.
Svoboda accepted the change, but his vision is that the agreements between the LFA, Fortuna and Pragosport will be increased by several million in exchange for the renewal of contracts. But the LFA is probably not considering a tender.
However, he encountered such a procedure with the clubs, and at the meeting of the LFA club board at the beginning of February, he has not yet been able to push through his proposal.
In a recent analysis, publicist Jiří Vojáček estimated that the price for television rights in the Czech league should correctly be around 758 million crowns per year. The amount that Pragosport has paid for broadcasting so far is 150 million.
According to Svoboda, the increase could also take place in the issue of marketing rights, ie between the LFA and the titular partner Fortuna. Svoboda offers clubs an increase of eight million over the current amount of 70 million per year. According to Tvrdík, however, even that could be much more. Tipsport reportedly offers millions to 120.
According to Tvrdík, there should also be more people interested in a tender for broadcasting rights. That is why the announcement of a memorandum between Slavia and the Turkish company Saran is worth noting. Especially after the boss Slavia recently threatened that the staplers could trade the rights to broadcast their matches themselves.
