Wesley Sneijder received a spot in the Internazionale Hall of Fame on Friday. The record international of the Dutch national team was in Milan on Friday and was honored for the match against Salernitana.
Sneijder had a successful period at Inter. He was part of the team that won the national title, the Champions League and cup in 2009. Sneijder has always said that Jose Mourinho was the best coach he has worked with and had his best period at Inter. Thirteen years later, Sneijder is recognized for his achievements.
From the sidelines, Sneijder saw how Inter won 5-0 against Salernitana in front of its own audience. Lautaro Martínez (3x) and Edin Dzeko (2x) scored the goals, making Inter the leader of the Serie A. SSC Napoli and AC Milan (2nd and 3rd) follow just one point away.
