For the first time since 2008, the South Bohemians advanced to the top four teams of the highest competition. The engine made three losses in the match and Michal Vondrka decided in 56:02. The South Bohemian series will have a semifinal series with Sparta from Sunday.

Motor striker Lukáš Pech started the jubilee 1000th match in the extra league and reached this goal as the 22nd hockey player in the highest domestic competition. The second semi-final pair consists of the defending champions Třinec and Mladá Boleslav. The first semifinal duels start on Sunday in the Třinec and Sparta arenas. The series of four winning matches will continue in the same places on Monday.
