Short presentation of the event: The Italian geography, for some years now, has been analyzing the many aspects linked to the projection of sport on a territorial level; these implications may concern governance, tourism management, up to the point of merging with the social, cultural and economic characteristics of a given territory. The event, proposed for this GeoNight 2022, focuses on the relationship between basketball and the territory, in particular that of the Marche region, on a journey from North America to Italy.
