Sportsmen took revenge against Somisa

The Rosario team returned to victory at home for the eleventh date of the contest. They beat the nicoleños by a resounding 89-63. Five players scored in double figures in the winner.

The Region 1 Division is presented from the beginning as one of the most even and competitive zones, with surprises every day and a table that finds them all with the possibility of qualifying for the next phase when there are still several games to play. After two falls in a row, the Rosario team was forced to win and they did it by far to regain confidence.

Alfredo Figna from the República de La Sexta neighborhood received the Nicoleño cast on Wednesday night, with the peculiarity of finding themselves in very similar realities because both teams had just suffered a couple of consecutive defeats. With this framework and in need of victory, it was those led by Cristian Le Bihan who managed to prevail with a score of 89-63.

El Verde lived perhaps one of its best nights when it comes to defending, annulling from the beginning and during the first half mainly the paths to the goal of the visit. To the low sum of points obtained by Somisa, the annotation distributed was necessarily added to close the second quarter 20 units.

During the third period, Sportsmen did nothing more than practically maintain the difference and dedicate themselves to playing a little more, moving the ball in attack and taking advantage of the great night of Francisco Dalpino, who at times was indefensible and ended up ranking as one of the outstanding players in the night with 16 converted points.

In the last 10 minutes, Somisa showed heart to go in search of the feat, but despite some of their own mistakes, the locals were able to close the result in favor, with the important contribution of Joaquín Cingolani from the three-point line to score as goal scorer.

Sportsmen Unidos smiled again in the Federal League and adds its third victory in a row if those achieved by the local tournament against Atalaya and Temperley are taken into account. Cristian Le Bihan and his team are confident of being able to position Verde among the best four at the end of the regular phase.
