Successful trainer training in Teikojutsu self-defence – Oldenburg

Göhl. (hp) Six Teikojutsu trainers from TSV Dahme and SV Göhl took part in the BUDO course from WBKF Northern Germany for their further training. This took place on Saturday, March 12, 2022, once again in Lauenburg an der Elbe in the Weingarten sports hall.

WBKF country representatives also took part with their junior coaches. But the relevant, highest-ranking leaders were Soke Joachim Peters (10th Dan Jiu-Jitsu, 6th Dan Judo & Kobudo) and Hanshi Than Winter – Luong (8th Dan Karate), both recognized, internationally experienced Budo experts. In this context, it should be emphasized that the Teikojutsu trainer Franziska Laur (3rd Dan Teikojutsu) was employed for the first time as a WBKF trainer and also taught Teikojutsu self-defence.

The approximately 60 participants in the course were divided into three groups according to belt grades, which were then swapped around on a regular basis, white, yellow and orange belts together, then green and blue and finally brown and black belts (masters). The trainers themselves did the warm-up training in the individual groups. Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, Kick-Boxing, Grabbling and of course Teikojutsu were trained. At the end of the course, all trainers had shown their special techniques, which were then trained by the students. As a result, everyone completed a successful course.

Anyone who would like to attend the next Budo defense course at TSV Dahme will have the opportunity on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022.
