The blessing ceremony and delivery of the new banner of the Federation of Syracuse dedicated to Amedeo di Savoia Duca d’Aosta, on the 80th anniversary of his death in captivity, took place at the church of San Tommaso Apostolo al Pantheon – Sacrario dei Caduti in Syracuse. in Africa (March 3, 1942).
The national president of the association, Brigadier Gen. Carlo Magnani, took part in the ceremony, with exceptional godmother Silvia di Savoia Aosta.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by the parish priest Don Massimo Di Natale, in the presence of the municipal councilor for traffic, Dario Tota and the City Banner escorted by the Municipal Police officers with their Commander, Enzo Miccoli.
The Federations of Catania, Caltanissetta, Messina, the Sections of Noto, Lentini and Milazzo of the Nastro Azzurro Institute, the representatives of the Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza, the Port Authority, the Military Corps and the Corps of Volunteer Nurses of the Italian Red Cross.
