exciting news for table tennis enthusiasts in Trelew! The highly anticipated tournament, originally scheduled for March 19th, has been rescheduled to take place on Saturday, March 26th.

This change is due to the involvement of Jose Luis Tagliaferri, the local representative for the Argentine adn Chubut Table Tennis Federation, in a significant initiative. Tagliaferri will be traveling with the Chubut Deportes delegation to pehuen-Có to introduce table tennis as a new discipline in the Patagonian Integration Games. This exciting advancement has received approval from both national and regional sporting authorities.

However, I understand this push is due to Jose Luis Tagliaferri’s involvement in the Patagonian Integration Games. Introducing table tennis as a new discipline is a HUGE step for the sport in the region, and I fully support Tagliaferri’s dedication to growing the game.

Maria:

I wholeheartedly believe so. Representation is vital. Seeing table tennis on a platform like the Patagonian Integration Games will definitely spark interest, especially among youngsters. We could witness a surge of new talent from this region in the coming years.
