WANTED Turkish club, this is the response of players of Indonesian-Liberian descent, Ronaldo Kwateh. The 17-year-old winger admitted that he did not want to be bothered by the news above and chose to focus on conducting training camps with the U-19 Indonesian National Team.
Ronaldo Kwateh is currently being targeted by Turkish club Antalyaspor. The talent of this agile player was smelled by Antalyaspor talent scouts when undergoing a training camp in Antalya with the U-18 Indonesian National Team in mid November 2021.
Apart from Antalyaspor, there are other Turkish clubs who are eyeing Ronaldo Kwateh. However, it is not yet known with whom Antalyaspor is competing for the services of Roberto Kwateh’s son.
Even so, Ronaldo Kwateh is reluctant to think about his future. He chose to focus on undergoing a training camp with the U-19 Indonesian National Team and submitting transfer matters to club officials, Madura United.
“Yes, if it’s true, I just have to focus. For that it has been taken care of and hopefully it can run smoothly. The most important thing is that I focus first with what is currently there,” said Ronaldo Kwateh after undergoing his inaugural training camp at the Madya Stadium, Senayan, Wednesday. March 2, 2022.
This Persib Bandung academy dropout also doesn’t really care which Turkish club will be the next port. He admitted that he was happy to defend any club, as long as it was a foreign club.
“That’s why I just go with it. Wherever I want to go, the important thing is that my dream is to be able to play abroad,” hoped the holder of two caps with the senior Indonesian national team.
Ronaldo Kwateh is an agile winger whose performance is stealing attention. At the age of only 17 years, Ronaldo Kwateh has appeared in three age groups for the Indonesian national team.
Apart from performing at the training camp with the U-18 Indonesia National Team in Turkey last year, Ronaldo Kwateh also appeared in the FIFA Matchday match against Timor Leste with the senior national team and contributed one assist. Now, Ronaldo Kwateh has been called back by Shin Tae-yong to the Indonesia U-19 national team squad to prepare for the 2023 U-20 World Cup.
