Today, Roland-Garros and Infosys formalized the extension of their partnership contract until 2026.

Since 2019, Infosys has been in charge of statistics and other data for the Parisian Grand Slam following IBM’s withdrawal before the 2018 edition.

After 3 editions, the company specializing in digital services has therefore decided to continue the adventure by signing a new 5-year partnership contract (2022-2026).

“Today players, coaches and fans are empowered to connect, train and engage with technology. 2022 not only marks the fourth year of our partnership, but also a year where we look forward to bringing even more innovation to the tennis ecosystem and beyond, in order to have a positive impact on the community ” explains Sumit Virmani, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Infosys, in a press release. ” We remain significantly committed to digital support for Roland-Garros, to continue to reimagine the tournament together through unique and meaningful experiences. »

Metaverse for Roland-Garros 2022

Note that for this 2022 edition, Roland-Garros should offer mixed reality experiences and Metaverse with immersive digital platforms designed by Infosys. The official digital innovation partner will obviously continue to provide data and information to fans, players, coaches, journalists and broadcasters.

“Each year, we welcome viewers from over 222 countries to witness one of the most anticipated moments of the year. Every year, we go above and beyond to improve the fan experience through the strength of our partnership. We are excited to continue to raise the bar even higher for the entire tennis ecosystem by extending our partnership. » adds Amélie Mauresmo, new tournament director replacing Guy Forget.
