The Lakers’ downfall seems endless this season, and increasingly seems to be leading the franchise toward a turbulent summer. As such, a member of the league believes that the Angelinos would do well to send Anthony Davis to a rival, in exchange for a specific group of players!
With 7 defeats suffered in their last 10 meetings, they are clearly not taking the right direction for the end of the season. Only 9th in the West (27-33) with 22 games still to play, the Lakers are heading straight for the play-in tournament. That’s if they don’t drop from the top 10 in the conference before the end of the regular season, which remains a worrying possibility.
Anyway, few observers see the men of Frank Vogel capable of a coup during the postseason. Change should therefore take place next summer, and precipitate the departure of one or more stars from the roster. Since then, Anthony Davis does not escape rumors of this kind, and is the subject of some intriguing trade proposals within the NBA community!
Anthony Davis sent to the great enemies of the Lakers?
AD’s physical fragility continues to cause him to lose credit in Los Angeles, all the more so following the latest worrying update concerning it. Therefore, parting with him during the next off-season makes sense for some. And while destinations like Chicago or Miami have already been mentioned in this file, a league executive prefers to send him… to Boston, in a 5-player deal!

An unnamed NBA executive tells Heavy.com that Lakers should consider trading Anthony Davis in exchange for Jaylen Brown.
“AD in a deal with (Talen) Horton-Tucker to get Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart and Aaron Nesmith? The Lakers should accept it. Me, I would. »
Before being sent to Purple & Gold in 2019, Davis thought long and hard about joining Boston. A Celtics superstar had also tried to recruit him, in vain. This marriage could finally take place three years later, if and only if the Angelino leaders believe that this deal is worth it. Not sure, however, that the C’s agree to sell Jaylen Brown, especially given his recent form and that of the franchise!
