Risk-taking is part of the panoply of a basketball player. Those who don’t attempt difficult passes never lose the ball. Those who flee the circle in defense never find themselves on the wrong side of a poster. Same for those who do not really attack the basket, they are rarely countered. In the NBA this season, 10 players are being countered a little more frequently than the others.
The list is interesting, since it mixes established stars and more anecdotal players or in any case less referenced.
The undisputed leader is also the player who scores the most points in the racket in the NBA this season and the one who tries the most unlikely things when approaching the circle: Ja Morant, with 87 blocks to his detriment. His risky game does not prevent him from being a contender for the title of MVP.
Another Grizzlies player coming in just behind with 79 blocks on him: Years Jackson Jr. Also author of a very good season, the interior of Memphis would benefit from being a little sharper near the circle.
Le rookie d’Orlando Franz Wagner, very aggressive offensively, completes the podium. Behind, we find All-Stars like Karl-Anthony Towns (4e), Bring Young (5e), Jayson Tatum (6e), DeMar DeRozan (8e), James Harden (9th) or Russell Westbrook (10e).
Harden has only played 46 matches and has a particularly alarming ratio when compared to other members of this list.
Darius Bazleythe OKC player, is also probably a little too countered in relation to his contribution to the field.
