Ben Simmons did not lie, he was in Philadelphia this Thursday evening, on the Nets bench to support his team. The reception was relatively warm, with a lot of whistles for the Australian. But even in the street, the fans wanted to make their voices heard: enough to ask questions about this treatment.
Still not fit to return to the basketball courts, Ben Simmons was keen to support his teammates this Thursday night, against the Sixers, his former home. A meeting which turned into a real blowout, and which must have made the Australian happy. It must be said that the treatment given was absolutely nightmarish.
The terrible sequence of Ben Simmons in Philly!
Unsurprisingly, the player was whistled when arriving in the room, but not only. Hours before the match started, Simmons was greeted with boos and insults before boarding a bus, all in the middle of the street. A sequence that does not please everyone.

Either way, Simmons will end with a smile. The Nets crushed the Sixers, and a lot of fans had to leave the room early in the fourth quarter:

Unsurprisingly, the reception was warm from Sixers fans for Ben Simmons, but so much? Let’s say that we can regret the turn of events, but there are limits. At least the Australian leaves with a smile from Pennsylvania, while some will have nightmares after this defeat.
