The Alliance continues to recruit – TVA Sports

The Montreal Alliance hired guard Isiah Osborne on Monday, a few weeks before the first season since its creation.

The 25-year-old plays with Kouvot de Kouvola, in Finland’s main basketball league.

He has so far averaged 16.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 32.8 minutes played per game.

His team has yet to play a regular season game and will then participate in the playoffs of the circuit.

Osborne grew up in Canada and the United States at the university level. He represented the University of Windsor and the University of Carleton in U Sports, as well as the University of Texas in the NCAA.

With Carleton, he won back-to-back championships, in 2019 and 2020, being named MVP during the second conquest.

The Ontarian is the second player to agree with the Alliance after Montrealer Kemy Osse.

The announcements are likely to follow one another over the next few weeks as the expansion team of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (ECBL) will begin training camp on May 16.
