LeBron James not only delivered a recital against the Warriors, he also took the opportunity to shine in front of Stephen Curry’s eyes. According to a former colossus of the league, it’s anything but a coincidence… Indeed, the latter suggests that the winger would have a vendetta to carry out against the Chief!
The Lakers superteam may be in great difficulty this season (9ᵉ in the West), the duels it is having with Golden State are always worth a look. The latest was no exception to the rule, the Angelinos winning at home (124-116) and thus ending their current losing streak. What especially marked the spirits, it is the double-double monumental of LeBron James who literally made history unheard of for the occasion (56 points and 10 rebounds):
Kendrick Perkins thinks it’s personal between LeBron and Curry
A remarkable performance, which moreover completely made us forget that of Stephen Curry who nevertheless finished with 30 points on the clock. However, Kendrick Perkins thinks it’s no coincidence that the King shone brightly when his team received the Dubs. According to the ESPN analyst, L-Train would indeed be unhappy that many observers describe the point guard as the current face of the league. As a result, he would let off steam at each of their confrontations!

Is it me or ever since they tried to hand the throne over to Steph, Bron takes it personal every time he matches up against #30? Brilliant game by the old man, maybe they should act like they are playing the Warriors every game the rest of they way! Carry on…

Am I the only one who thinks like this, or since they tried to cede the throne to Steph, Bron takes it personally every time he faces #30? It was a great old man’s game, maybe they should act like they’re playing the Warriors every game until the end!
The opinion of the former Celtic is likely to be debated and perhaps even controversial, since it is common knowledge that the two superstars have been friends for a long time. On the other hand, to say that LBJ is particularly motivated to play against the Chief is not unreasonable, given that they have faced each other in the Finals many times over the past decade. A certain rivalry therefore necessarily exists between them.
Not sure that LeBron takes “personally” the fact that Curry is considered the current face of the NBA by some, as Kendrick Perkins claims. What is certain is that the 2008 champion will be talked about with this statement, which was perhaps the intended goal.
