The Celtics outclass the Wolves and are first in the Eastern

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown both surpassed 30 points by winning easily after a great collective offensive performance in Boston against some fairly sluggish Wolves. After a balanced first quarter (34-30), the visitors jumped into defense in the second quarter to be relegated to more than 20 points at half-time (72-49). There was no game in the second half … yet four months ago, in December 2021, the Celtics had lost in Minneapolis and were wondering if they would finish the season on a positive note. Instead, thanks to the direct advantage against the Heat, tonight they are leaders in the East.
