A Madrid judge rules that the club was excluded without just cause from the competition

That of the Obradoiro basketball club was a long legal fight that came to fruition and that currently allows Compostela fans to enjoy one of the best European basketball leagues in the city. In that long fight, there was a key victory just 31 years ago, since a court from Madrid ruled that Obradoiro was excluded from the competition without just cause and added that since it was no longer possible to include him in the competition, the Federation Espaola de Baloncesto must compensate the plaintiff club for the damages caused. It was the first push for Obra’s return to the basketball elite.
