The Latvian LaLiga and Versliga look to the future with the MoU

March 7 – The Spanish La Liga and the Latvian Versluga sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to promote the development of football, with a special focus on technical solutions.

The Memorandum of Understanding will include an exchange of experience on leadership, corporate governance, sports management, women’s football, broadcasting, and sales and marketing.

The main attention will be paid to the development of the nation, while both organizations plan to establish a sports forum in the capital of Latvia, Riga.

LaLiga CEO Oscar Mayo said: “This agreement will allow us to strengthen our relationship with the Premier League and work together to share experiences and promote the development and professionalisation of international football.”

A key component of the collaboration will be the expertise and training seminars that LaLiga will provide in a variety of areas, including brand protection and brand outreach, to develop proposals on media rights.
