Latvian vice-champion MX1 Toms Macuks showed the best result in Liepaja. He overtaken his closest follower in a lap, but overtakes all riders by at least three laps. Consequently, a natural victory in the E2 / E3 class. Valdis Seratinskis remained second, but Jānis Freimanis won the third place.
In the E1 class, Thomas Šaicāns won in the meantime, who also overtakes his nearest rival Mika Rasman. Markus Jauntirāns closed the podium in the meantime.
Aivis Graudiņš, meanwhile, triumphed in the Quadri Open, while Taivo Kārna, an Estonian driver, won the Quadri ATV. In the ATV class, the whole podium was this time for Estonian riders.
134 riders started in the Liepāja section – 109 motorcyclists and 25 quadricycle drivers. Only seven athletes did not start this time.
The next stage of “Cross Country” is planned for April 10, in Ķesterciems, but on April 2, the Latvian championship and the Enduro Cup will be opened on the same track.
