Archery, climbing, mountain biking, run and bike, obstacle course, laser shooting and orienteering will be on the program for this second Raid’Y dedicated to young people aged 8 to 15. After many years dedicated to adults, then the opening to young people, this sporting event was reserved for young people in 2021 and it will be from now on.
“We have seen the evolution of practices and in particular those of young people, whether in schools or in clubs”, indicates Jérôme Labonne, deputy mayor for sports in Yzeure, who has seen the registration of young people progress. Last year there were 120.

This Raid’Y is therefore done in pairs of the same age group, namely, 8-10, 11-12 or 13-15 years old.

Looking for volunteers
The goal is to pass the tests as quickly as possible without penalty.
“These events help develop self-transcendence, solidarity and all the values found in sport,” says Jérôme Labonne.
Registration will be open from Friday 1st to Wednesday 27th April.
Raid’Y, the multisport raid, returns to Yzeure, Saturday June 26, only for young people
“We are really happy to find the associations and support them after two complicated years, it puts balm in the heart”. And to organize such an event, you need volunteers, about forty in all. The organizing committee is therefore appealing for goodwill.
Teams can be female, male or mixed. Registration will take place here, starting April 1. No registration will be possible on site.
