The sanction for Kyrgios came out for his crossing with Bernardes

Finally, the sanction came out, economic, for Nick Kyrgios after his clash with umpire Carlos Bernardes in the Miami tournament. The Australian, the subject of a few words and a couple of outbursts during the round of 16 match against Jannik Sinner, will have to contribute a good part of his prize in fines.

The Australian was sentenced to pay a total of 35 thousand dollars for the different attitudes scattered on the court and is divided as follows:

-Obscenity: $5000

-Unsportsmanlike conduct: $10,000

Verbal abuse: $20,000

Discounted from the $94,575 he earned for reaching the round of 16, it essentially means he gave up a third of his earnings.
