MAZATLAN._ Duels full of intensity were experienced this Wednesday afternoon during the quarterfinal phase of the King of Clay Tennis Tournament 2022which takes place in the Wall Sports Club.
After a day full of emotion and enthusiasm, the players who earned their place in the semifinal phase of this competition were defined, within the different categories called.
Within the Singles ‘C’ modality, Jorge Sánchez, José Bernal, Eduardo Gárate and Enrique Hernández managed to sneak into the prelude to the grand final of this competition.
In his semifinal match, Jorge Sánchez showed his best level of play on the court to beat Diego Martínez by a score of 6-3 and 6-1, thus ensuring his place in the next round.
Eduardo Gárate also used his best racket techniques to beat Édgar Garzón 6-2, 6-3, thus earning his ticket to the semifinal.
Enrique Hernández defeated Jorge Medrano by a score of 6-3 and 6-2, while José Bernal took the pass after Jorge Aviña left the duel due to injury, going on the scoreboard 6-3 and 2-3.
In the Men’s ‘D’ Singles category, those who qualified for the semifinals were Roy Castro, Marco Ávila, Marcelino Nieto and Adrián Martínez, after showing off their best game techniques.

This Thursday the semifinal round of this competition will take place in all the categories called, where the finalists who will seek the title will be defined.
