They successfully carry out the First MTB Women’s Marathon and basketball and soccer matches in Apetatitlán

In a warm and familiar atmosphere, this Sunday, the Apetatitlán City Council held the first Epic Women’s MTB (mountain bike) Marathon, which called on women mountain bikers to participate in commemoration of International Women’s Day.
The response was immediate, as the call brought together more than 80 participants between the expert, advanced, beginner, enthusiast and donitas categories.
The marathon, traveled through the different communities of Apetatitlán, in which women from the municipality participated, as well as from the rest of the state and from neighboring entities such as Puebla, Hidalgo and Mexico City.
Each of the cyclists showed their professionalism, as they presented their bicycles in perfect condition, wore the appropriate clothing to practice this sport and respected the rules, with the aim that a race would be carried out without setbacks.
As for the sporting events, they were held at the Antonio Carvajal Sports Unit and had as participants the teams Golden Snake and Cometas in soccer and The Panthers and The Girls Lakers in basketball.
The municipal president Ángelo Gutiérrez Hernández was in charge of giving the starting signal, the kickoff of these sporting events, as well as delivering the awards.
The winners of the first places in the mountain bike Ana Laura Lemus, Karla Espinoza, Arely Hernández Romero, Wendy Acoltzi Quiroz and Alejandra Sanluis.
Regarding women’s soccer, the winners were the members of the Golden Snakes team who won three goals to nil.
Regarding women’s basketball, the result was twenty-six points against nineteen, with The Girls Lakers taking the victory.
