The loan agreement with the Municipality of Rada Tilly authorizes the use of a property adjacent to the Yacht Club for the projection of a work that includes the construction of two outdoor tennis courts, changing rooms and a recreational area.
The Mayor of Rada Tilly, Luis Juncos, the Secretary of Sports and Tourism, Jorge Mérida, the President of the Club, Eduardo Barone, and members of the Board of Directors participated in the signing.
“This is a joint action between the Municipality and the club to diversify the city’s sports offer, to the benefit of both the members and the community in general”, valued the Secretary of Sports and Tourism, Jorge Mérida.
“This agreement offers the possibility of adding one more activity to the basketball, hockey and nautical offer that the club already has, in an adjoining space that will allow centralizing a better and greater sports offer for the city,” Mérida explained.
The agreement will be sent to the Honorable Deliberative Council of Rada Tilly for its consideration and foresees – as anticipated – the construction of the first outdoor tennis courts that the city would have. In addition, the work in charge of the Club Náutico y Deportivo Rada Tilly, is projected in two stages and includes the construction of changing rooms and a recreational area.
In line with the municipal management policy that seeks to serve and expand the offer of recreational and sports activities in the city; This agreement is part of the actions promoted by the Municipality through strategic alliances with intermediate institutions of the locality, to promote the growth of sport and physical activity in the city, in its different manifestations.
