KRC Genk have had a complicated season so far. Former player Tom Soetaers advises his former club to make a clean sweep of the past.
“It seems to me that Paul Onuachu and Theo Bongonda had hoped to leave last summer after their great season with a nice transfer. But even for the top scorer and the Golden Boot, no decent offer came along. Strange. I think the club is at a crossroads and will have to say goodbye to its attacking trio next summer,” Tom Soetaers told Het Belang van Limburg.
And apparently he would also replace Storck. “Get rid of a Colombian too and you’re about 30 million richer. Take Storm and Schoofs, who aren’t too old yet, give Oyen more chances and add Wouter Vrancken as a coach. Then you take a new start.”
