Tongue drama in the Austrian soccer league. A player from Austria Wien fell down after a collision and swallowed his tongue. His opponent reacted quickly and correctly – and probably saved his life.

Shock shortly before the end of the football game in Austria. Austria professional Georg Teigl takes a knee on his head and falls unconscious on the lawn. This is especially dangerous because he swallows his tongue.
Luckily, Wolfsberger defender Luka Lochoshvili reacts correctly. He puts his fingers in Teigl’s mouth and pulls his tongue forward. Teigl regains consciousness and is then taken to the hospital for observation. Blessing in disguise.
“He even bit his fingers, but he kept trying until he could grab his tongue,” said Wolfsberger coach Robin Dutt, describing the scene.
Much praise for Lochoshvili: “It was the most important action of the day, we are all proud of Locho for acting with such quick wit. It was an unbelievable achievement.” The opponent also paid tribute. “That was really great of him as a human being, thanks for that,” said keeper Patrick Pentz.
