The former Italian motorcycling driver Valentino Rossi, 43, six-time MotoGP world champion, announced this Friday that he has become a father, just the weekend that the championship of the highest category of motorcycles begins, in which he now has his own team.
‘Il Dotore’ and his partner, the model Francesca Sofía Novello, published a photo of their first-born’s foot with a hand that caressed him to confirm the birth of his daughter, whom they have named Giulieta Rossi.
“¡Mom and Dad are in seventh heaven! Welcome, Giulieta Rossi,” said the former pilot on his official Twitter account, who has accumulated nine world championship titles in four categories and who is the one with the most podiums (199) and victories (89) in the premier category of motorcycling.
Officially withdrawn in November 2021, now, without getting on the bikes but without leaving the circuits, Rossi will have his own team for this 2022 campaign.
The ‘Mooney VR46 Racing Team’, a team name that contains his initials and the number with which he raced, signed a contract with MotoGP until 2026, so the motorcycling legend will continue to be linked to this sport for at least five more years .
