- The City Council of Cintalapa congratulated the monarchs of the U16 category of the Men’s Branch
Cintalapa, Chiapas.- The City Council of Cintalapa congratulates the Selective of the Valle Region for the U16 State Basketball Championship of the Men’s Branch, held from March 25 to 27 in this municipality.
With a score of 43 to 29, the Valley Region Team was Champion over the Soconusco Region Team in the U16 State Basketball Championship for Men; held at the “Sergio López Pérez” Municipal Auditorium in Cintalapa de Figueroa.
The Championship was held under health care due to the pandemic, measuring forces by the squads of the 7 Regions of Chiapas so that players who will be part of the State Basketball Selective are selected through the visors.
With the support of the Municipal Government of Cintalapa and the Mexican Basketball Sports Association (ADEMEBA), the quintets and their coaches were able to participate in this state event that produced many emotions with the participation of the fans.
In this sense, the host and municipal representative; He thanked ADEMEBA Chiapas for taking Cintalapa into account for the development of this championship, since it is undoubtedly one of the hotbeds of amateur basketball in our state and of course at the national level.
“I congratulate the teams of the 7 participating Regions, but especially the Valle Region that achieved the Championship thanks to the strategy of the Technical Director and the joint work of the young athletes, promises of Mexican basketball.”
During the award ceremony for the leaders in Chiapas of ADEMEBA and the Municipal Directorate of Youth and Sports, it was highlighted that the City Council of Cintalapa; is an ally of Amateur and Professional sports, to support and strengthen activities that guarantee competitiveness, health and family life.
