Max Verstappen can make his chest wet for the coming season, at least if we are to believe former Formula 1 driver Anthony Davidson. The British Analyst of Sky Sports expects Lewis Hamilton to want to ‘destroy’ the Dutch world champion.
The winter break was dominated by the question of whether Hamilton would continue in the premier class at all, but in the end a ‘yes’ was answered. Hamilton said combatively that he had not even shown his best moments at the end of last season and that he will go even further this coming weekend. Texts to scare, Davidson thinks.
From Sky Sportsanalyst speaks on the website of Sky about the Brit’s firm lyrics. “When Hamilton comes out with a text like this, it’s better if you’re on your guard. He’s definitely set on winning this whole thing once and for all and he’s definitely going to be tough to beat. He’s coming next season certainly with an over my corpse mentality,” says the former Super Aguri driver.
Destroy
Davidson continues with a warning for the world champion. “Lewis wants nothing more than to destroy Max in the coming season. Let’s not beat around the bush. He feels completely robbed by Abu Dhabi. He wants to go out on track with a dominant car and not even want to meet Max on the track. There I am sure. He wants to show his heels, disappear into the distance and win his eighth world title”. Davidson concludes.
