Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) put an end to their differences in order to end the strike that had delayed the start of the league and reach a new collective agreement with many more benefits for the players.

Now, after the signing of the new agreement, everything was set in motion for the start of the 2022 Major League season and it will immediately return to spring training, which will surely be marked by many signings of the remaining free agents.
When does the season start?
At first and before the strike, the date that was stipulated for the start of the regular season was March 31, but with all the interruptions already known, the beginning of this 2022 season of the best baseball league in the world was moved one week, more specifically to April 7.
For Opening Day (season start day) the MLB has stipulated that only eight games be played, with the rest of the teams playing the next day.

On the first day you can enjoy the following games: Chicago White Sox against Kansas City Royals; Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees; Seattle Mariners vs. Minnesota Twins; Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Saint Louis Cardinals; New York Mets vs. Washington Nationals; Cincinnati Reds vs. Atlanta Braves; Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs; Houston Astros vs. Anaheim Angels and San Diego Padres vs. Arizona Diamondbacks.
