The Lakers had to bounce back from the humiliation suffered against the Pelicans this weekend… Unfortunately for them, their burst of pride was not synonymous with victory, since they lost to the Mavericks by a Luka Doncic yet not exceptional (0/5 to 3 points for example). But as too often, LeBron James was too lonely to hope for anything.

With 26 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists, all 55% shooting success, he struggled to get the Purple and Gold out of a deep crisis, but not only his offensive efforts were in vain, he more summer targeted by Luka Doncic in the final minuteswho did not hesitate to score three baskets in a row on the head of the No. 6 to ensure victory for his team.

LeBron James understands and supports fans who whistle him

And as in the previous game, the King and his teammates were jeered at by Crypto.com Arena fans, who are no doubt exasperated that they have to pay such expensive seats for such a poor show. After the meeting, LeBron finally returned to the whistles of the fans, and as a perfect leader, he did not enter the confrontation, quite the contrary.

I’m ready for anything for Lakers fans. If they whistle, I’m with them. If they support us, I am with them.

LeBron James knows it, the Lakers will need their fans if they want to do anything at the end of the season. Out of the question, therefore, to put them on their backs with an incendiary statement, the King preferred to temporize and say that he was with the fans whatever they did. An intelligent and undoubtedly sincere choice, he has the experience to know that the game offered by his team is not polished enough for this demanding public.

LeBron James and the Lakers have been whistled yet again, and the King understands all of the fans’ frustration. Expectations were high at the start of the season, and they fail to live up to it. They still have a few matches to reverse steam.
