FC Nantes won on penalties this Wednesday against AS Monaco (2-2, 4-2 pens), in the semi-final of the Coupe de France. Maripan had opened the scoring for ASM (12th), before the Canaries equalized with a goal against his camp in Sidibé (21st). The Canaries thought they had made the difference by scoring thanks to Moutoussamy (74th), but the Monegasques immediately equalized through Boadu (76th). The match was therefore played during the penalty shootout won 4-2 by Nantes, after the failures of Ben Yedder and Tchouameni on the Monegasque side.
Overjoyed, the Nantes public invaded the Beaujoire lawn. This will be the 9th Coupe de France final and the first since 2000 for the Canaries, who will face OGC Nice on May 8 on the lawn of the Stade de France.
