Kazumi Yinyama, who achieved the first feat in Yamanashi prefecture. She is also a pitcher for a professional baseball club in the prefecture.
Kageyama started playing baseball in the 4th grade of elementary school.

He continued to play baseball in high school and working adults, and joined a working club in the prefecture in 2020. In September 2021, he was the first woman to participate in a baseball tournament in the prefecture.
He contributed to the team’s runner-up by controlling his characteristics and becoming a winning pitcher with a changing ball.
“I was only happy. The fielder approached me and gave me a back pompon, and I felt like I was glad I was thrown.”
Kageyama, who teaches not only players but also children at baseball schools, feels a certain challenge.
In the prefecture, there is a women’s team that won the national championship in 2018 in junior high school, but there is no saucer for players such as the women’s baseball club in high school.
“I’m still playing baseball (to my junior players) by focusing on teaching baseball schools and developing women’s baseball. I want to actually tell them that it’s fun.”
In order to popularize women’s baseball in the prefecture, we will continue to challenge with the dual wield of players and instructors.
