Youth Archery Championship

This weekend took place the Regional Indoor Championship (18m) in Muret. 18 young archers represented their department very well over these two days.

The 7 Gers clubs had one or more young people on the move, for certain categories the level is very high but they all pulled out a ROPE on their ARC to pass the CUT and enter the finals

Saint Martin d’Armagnac club : 5 archers present Agathe category Poussine becomes Vice-Champion, Guillem in compound bow also vice-champion, Jade 10th, Morgane 10th, Enzo 18th
Club de Condom : Jules finishes 3rd Bronze medal, Elsa 15th
Mirande Club : Lyse 8 th
Samatan Club : Erwan 12th
L’Isle-Jourdain Club : Dimitri 10th, Emilie 18th
Gers Yacht Club : Jean Baptiste 17 th, Josué 24 th, Amélie 13 th
Club d’Auch : Adrien 3rd Bronze Medal, Sophie 9th, Tom 21st, Marine 5th – Marine and Guillem are selected for the French Youth Championship which will take place in Chollet from 25 to 27 February.
This weekend will be the turn of the adults who will meet for the regional in Auch in Mouzon, again very high level and then only one Gersois qualified in France will leave for Vittel.
Thanks to the Gersois Archery GE, the pooling of several clubs has meant that we have archers from outside the department who have also honored us with podiums and very good places and will also be present with our Gersois archers in France.
