1 year from Okinawa Arena’s first event “Our First Games” | Ryukyu Golden Kings Press Release

It’s been a year since the first event “Our First Games” held at the Okinawa Arena held by the Ryukyu Golden Kings on April 11, 2021.

The Ryukyu Golden Kings will hold the first official B.LEAGUE match on April 21st, starting with the memorable red and white match held at the Okinawa Arena on April 11th last year, entitled “Our First Games”. In the monthly championship, we fought a total of six games in the conference quarter-finals and semi-finals. And in this season’s B.LEAGUE opening game, a special B.LEAGUE opening game will be held on September 30th, where only one game will be held ahead of the league games held all over the country. The match was held with Alvark Tokyo, the rematch of the 2016 B.LEAGUE historic opening card, and attracted attention from all over Japan.

Throughout the year, we have been able to hold a number of games to welcome our customers, taking measures in the face of repeated waves of new coronavirus infections and various difficulties.
I am convinced that this was possible only because of the thoughts, understanding, support and cooperation of Okinawans and everyone involved in Okinawa, as well as fans, shareholders, partner companies, the media, and the government. We are here. We would like to express our gratitude and gratitude to all of you.

We will continue to strive to make Ryukyu Golden Kings and Okinawa Arena a symbol of Okinawa and a home arena for many people. Thank you for your continued support.
