In recent days the carabinieri of the Mestre company have tracked down and taken to prison a 32-year-old from Favaro Veneto (his initials DNN), involved in at least three episodes of robbery and assault in the period between 2012 and 2013. The man was served a jail order by the Court of Appeal after being sentenced to 2 years and 2 months of imprisonment.
The first episode occurred in a clinical analysis study, where the 32-year-old, together with an accomplice, had threatened the staff with a screwdriver, obtaining a thousand euros. In another case, the victim had been a tobacconist in Campo San Provolo, in Venice: the same two robbers, pointing a cutter at him, had been handed over about three thousand euros. To these accusations was added a third episode which took place the following year, when DNN attacked a young man from Mestre with a baseball bat to rob him for a few coins.
