The nature shooting qualification events for the French championships took place in Langlade. It was the Arc-club which had organized them on the ground located at chemin de Vignecroze.
Christophe Boubet, the president of the association, had the pleasure of welcoming 117 archers, mainly from the south of France. Everyone enjoyed the setting, nestled in the scrubland. The icy mistral of the day before had fortunately disappeared, and the blue sky was there. Very good scores were achieved: the best was 1,460 points out of a possible 1,470.
Mayor Gaëtan Prévoteau and municipal councilor Damien Adrover, sports delegate, were present and encouraged the participants. Medals were awarded, as well as well-deserved prizes.
The 2017 world champion, Joan Pauner, from Bollène, was also there. This beautiful event was also marked by a meal taken in the sun, very southern, with an excellent gardiane of bull, and cakes prepared locally.
