In the patio of the school of Saint-Savin, all the children are gathered on Wednesday March 30 around Philippe and Anna Argenty, the Duo Fortecello that we no longer need to introduce, very active in the territory of Sud-Vienne. For an hour they played, explained and showed how their instruments work. And answered questions at the end of the concert: what is music for? What are the differences between the music? How do you become a musician and what age (the opportunity to discover that Anna started at 6 and Philippe at 18)? What languages do you speak when you are abroad? what is the life of musicians like? Who writes the music?
Pre-school activities (Tap) at the Plé ducatif take place on Tuesday afternoons and are financed by the municipalities of Saint-Savin, Saint-Germain, Villemort and Antigny and coordinated by Pauline Rougerie of the MJC La Vigne aux Moines, explains Martine Plumereau, assistant in charge of school issues. Supervised by qualified and passionate instructors, they aim to introduce children to new activities which may inspire vocations. Theatre, manual activities, crafts, introduction to comics, tennis, judo, gym, football and other ball games, modern dance and salsa are offered. The municipalities are keen to offer activities other than those offered on the territory and complementary to those of the MJC. We would like to thank the associations that make our speakers or their equipment available to us.
Regarding the activity proposed last week, she adds: This world tour in cello and piano allowed young listeners to discover classical music beyond borders. […] This beautiful meeting, far too short, calls for others. Case to follow.
