The first major event on the sports billboard of the San Marcos 2022 National Fair took place this weekend in Edén Los Sabinos with the first edition of the 3D San Marcos 2022, which was an archery tournament in different modalities that had the participation of archers from all over Mexico and even a German athlete who gave the event an international touch.
For two days the arches flew looking for the center of the different targets that ranged from conventional to special targets depending on the category, which resulted not only in great competition but also in a great experience for all the participants who were more than satisfied with the stupendous organization.
As for results, Aguascalientes had several goalkeepers getting on the podium. The most outstanding was Brenda González who dominated the test of the compound archery modality with pleasure, climbing to the top of the podium with 469 points, taking a difference of 80 over the second place, in the same test Ana Rodríguez obtained the third step doing 1-3 for the local delegation. In the children’s open compound modality, Eugenia Hurtado Barba had a great weekend when she won the silver medal.
Likewise, in the men’s compound B Claudio Torres González was proclaimed the champion adding the fourth medal for Aguascalientes, the harvest was completed by Martín Flores who obtained the bronze in the traditional modality. Other states that stood out were Coahuila, Nuevo León, Querétaro and Jalisco, which had multiple champions in different categories, resulting in a tournament of excellent level that left great sensations and the goalkeepers wanting to return to the second edition.
