AC Milan Vs Bologna Goalless Draw at San Siro

AC Milan failed to get full points when they hosted Bologna in Serie A. The Rossoneri were held to a goalless draw by the Rossoblu.

The last matchday of the 31st week of the Italian League 2021/2022 presents the Milan vs Bologna duel. The match took place at the San Siro, Tuesday (5/4/2022) early morning WIB.

Milan got the first opportunity four minutes into the game. Pierre Kalulu heads Davide Calabria’s cross towards the goal. The ball can be saved by Bologna goalkeeper, Lukasz Skorupski.

The home team almost opened the scoring in the 16th minute. Rafael Leao’s volley hits the Bologna crossbar.

The visitors threatened again in the 28th minute. Musa Barrow’s long-distance kick can be pushed over by Mike Maignan.

No goals were created until entering the break. The first half closed with a score of 0-0 glasses.

Milan did not relax attacks after the break. Leao’s long-range shot three minutes into the second half was blocked by Skorupski.

Rossoneri again create opportunities in the 62nd minute. Calabria kicks the ball in the Bologna penalty area, but his shot has not met the target.

The incident occurred in the 79th minute. Zlatan Ibrahimovic collides head with Gary Medel in the penalty box. Ibrahimovic continued the match with a bandage on his head, while Medel was pulled off.

Milan tried to score goals in the remaining time, but the tight back row of Bologna could not be penetrated by Ibrahimovic cs. The score 0-0 for both teams lasted until the long whistle sounded.

This result made Milan failed to keep away the pursuit of its rivals in the Italian League standings. Il Diavolo Rosso stay in first position with 67 points, or only one point ahead of Napoli below it.
