Gulbe has applied for the WNBA draft together with two teammates – defenders Ali Patberg and Nicolas Cardano-Hilary of Spain. Indiana (24-9) reached the NCAA Sweet 16 championship for the second year in a row, but lost to the eleven-time UConn champion in the county semifinals.
A total of 88 new players have applied for the draft, but this list can be expanded.
The WNBA New Player Selection Ceremony will take place on April 11th. The number of candidates will continue to grow. Players who take part in the NCAA Four Finals will have 48 hours after the final tournament for further selection.
