Archery: ten podiums for Vernon

The vernon bow company organized last weekend a competition for all beginner archers, young and adults, clubs of the Eure. No less than 45 archers made the trip to compete in this competition.

You should not miss this meeting at the end of the winter season for the Vernon archers, in order to evaluate their work accomplished since the start of the school year in September.

Excitement and stress won over the local archers as the competition progressed. Two hours is a long time and you mustn’t give in to the last arrows.

It is an exercise to be tamed. The smallest point counts to finish on the podium. But, Stéphane Zede, their trainer, is present on the shooting range and gives advice on relaxation and motivation. And it finally pays off.

The archers vernonnaisall of which started on archery in September, were not unworthy. On the contrary, because they won ten podiums in all categories.

In their respective categories are gold medal: Majeri Soret Kelya, Bourgeois Léonie, Trouchard Kaitleen, Hattab Félix and Chevalier Julien. Are silver medal: Lamotte Logan, Robillard Chani and Postel Dominique. Are bronze medal: Doucenet Zoé and Doucenet Karine.
