On the first Sunday of April the Byzantine Archers face the “23rd Hunter & Field of the Delta”, one of the “classics” in the HF competitions. Housed in the evocative setting of the Vallette di Ostellato between reeds and portions of wet forest, it has as a constant feature the presence of water. Maximum attention, therefore, on the part of archers who, in addition to looking for the perfect center, must be careful not to lose arrows, which are difficult to recover from the lakes of the Vallette. Good, on this Sunday with uncertain weather, the performance of the Byzantine Archers who return home with different results. Still first step of the podium for Marcello Tozzola who with a score of 306 wins the gold medal for the male Olympic arc masters category. Less well than last week Alessandro Farinella who is only 7th with a score of 270 for the OL senior male category.
On the other hand, Sofia Fuschini hits the podium and wins the silver medal with a score of 255, an improvement compared to the previous race, for the Olympic women’s junior category. Constant in the result Angela Padovani, who, also this Sunday manages to stay ahead of her opponents and win the gold medal for the Olympic female masters category with a score of 265. Again for the naked bow, but the male masters category Franco Zannini 13th place with a score of 237, 11th Denis Costantini with 343 points for the senior men’s category Arco CO. On the other hand, the team formed by Marcello Tozzola (OL arch), Denis Costantini (CO arch) and Franco Zannini (AN) is empty, obtaining the 5th and last place with a score of 886.
