Tijuana, Baja California.- The Tijuana Municipal Sports Institute (IMDET) will work together with the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) to carry out, starting this weekend, the international Shuttle Time Badminton course, for three Saturdays in April
The Tijuana and Reforma sports units will be the venues for the activity that will provide the necessary tools for teaching and developing the discipline of Badminton, focused on the student aspect.
Tomorrow, Saturday, April 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the course will begin, which will be free and will have a maximum capacity of 25 people. The event will continue on Saturdays, April 9 and 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The course is aimed at students or graduates of careers related to physical activity and sports, as well as sports coaches and physical education teachers. The activity will be taught by Gennifer Aguirre Fajardo.
According to the International Badminton Federation, Shuttle Time is the School Badminton Program of the BWF. This model aims to make the discipline one of the most popular school sports in the world, since Badminton is suitable for girls and boys of all ages and skill levels.
